I love reading the New Testament for fun, but not so much certain Books in the Old Testament, which sometimes have felt like a lot work—until now. This book is the friendliest to read Bible study I’ve ever read. And the book has one of the most beautiful interiors I’ve ever seen. With large print, so I can read at night with tired eyes. Beautiful, soft colors, and lots of very simple graphs and boxes and lines to fill in as I gain insights and understanding. The author made Habakkuk come alive for me. Who knew studying an Old Testament prophet could be so much fun? I wish she would tackle every book in the Old Testament, because she makes it easy to study even difficult passages—and find the joy. The author did a fantastic job. My Bible study has already selected Embracing Joy as our next season Bible study.
