I bought this for my Brother in Law. The last time I spoke with him, he had not even taken it out of the box. What I read of it, I really enjoyed. Iread my Bible very frequently and also have the greatest respect for the "Big Book" and the writings of "Bill W." although I don't have a drinking problem, the 12 Step Program can be applied to any addiction, including worry, which affects me. This book deals with comparisons in Scripture that The A.A. Big Book uses, along with Bible verses and examples to bring the Bible and the Big Book closer together.I also gave my 84 year old Brother in Law, who gets up about 10 a.m. starts drinking. Gets drunk. Goes back to bed and sleeps until 3 p.m. eats dinner, gets drunk again, goes back to sleep again, and repeats the process, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. He has a sitter who feeds and baths him. I am convinced he is doing this as a slow suicide mission, and has no intention of ever quitting. Pray for his salvation.
